Pitt-Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ earns 2023-2024 Military Friendly® School Silver Designation

The University of Pittsburgh at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ has again earned Military Friendly® School designation, an honor it has held since 2012. Pitt-Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ received the Silver designation for 2023-2024. The 2023-2024 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May and October issue of G.I.

Isolation Hurts: A community mental health discussion

WQED, Mental Health America of Southwestern PA, and University of Pittsburgh at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ are proud to host a screening of Alone: Isolation Hurts, a 30-minute documentary exploring the intersections of mental health and social isolation. This free public screening will be held Wednesday, March 29 at Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center in Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ, Pa. The event will begin with a 7 p.m. community screening, followed by a Q&A panel discussion.

The University of Pittsburgh at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ offers multiple opportunities for high school students to visit campus and meet faculty and students to learn more about what is available through our academic and athletic programs. In 2019, Joyce Lin ’22 and Hunter Waltermire were selected out of a pool of applicants to receive the prestigious full-tuition scholarship to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ. Now, four years later, they are stepping into their post-graduate journeys.
